Honey Garlic Glazed Pickerel

Ingredients:

  • 2 fillets fresh Manitoba pickerel
  • 2 tbsp Spring Hill raw creamed honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  2. Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Brush the pickerel fillets with the glaze.
  4. Grill or pan-fry the fillets over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, brushing with additional glaze as they cook.
  5. Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges.
